Bezares promotes circular economy and sustainability through cardboard packaging recycling
Bezares, a leader in manufacturing hydraulic equipment for industrial and agricultural vehicles, reinforces its commitment to sustainability and the environment by recycling cardboard packaging. With over 60 years of experience and presence in more than 100 countries, Bezares is distinguished by its innovation, quality, and ecological responsibility.
In line with its sustainability policy, Bezares has acquired machinery to recycle the cardboard packaging received at its Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo) plant, transforming it into protective material for its own products during transportation and storage.
In doing so, Bezares reduces waste generation, maximizes the use of available resources, and avoids less eco-friendly materials such as plastics or synthetic foams. By recycling cardboard at its plant, Bezares also saves on transportation and waste management costs, which improves competitiveness and profitability.
According to Ecoembes, paper and cardboard are 100% recyclable, providing significant environmental benefits. Recycling one ton of paper prevents the cutting of 14 trees, saves 86% of water and 65% of energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and contributes to the conservation of forests and biodiversity.
This initiative is in addition to other measures Bezares has taken to minimize the environmental impact of its products, such as the expansion of its photovoltaic solar panel installation, the use of energy exclusively from renewable sources, the replacement of lighting fixtures with LEDs to reduce electricity consumption, and the implementation of an environmental management system certified according to ISO 14001. Bezares thus demonstrates its corporate social responsibility and its commitment to a circular economy that promotes sustainable development and care for the planet.
