New electric actuator for Power Take-Offs
Bezares incorporates a new electric actuator kit for Power Take-Offs controlled by a microprocessor. This microprocessor is incorporated in an aluminum housing, and is responsible for regulating the amount of current for the duration of the PTO actuator. This prevents excessive overheating of the solenoid at an ambient temperature between -40ºC and + 40ºC. The entire system is monitored by voltage tracking. The microprocessor knows the position of the actuator core without the need for sensors. It also controls the temperature of the electromagnet and control system, cutting the current if they exceed 180ºC and sending a warning signal to the cabin.
The electric piston operates in a range of between 10 and 30 volts. It also complies with the automotive safety regulations, where it is required that the electromagnetic field does not interfere with any of the vehicle’s systems.
It also includes protection against reversal of polarity or short-circuit for all output signals. It will be available in February 2019.
